Napoleon Hill first promoted the idea of having a Major Definite Purpose in his book Think and Grow rich, published in 1937.

Be true to yourself

Many people live their lives in a form of reverse. They reverse, like a car into their jobs, into their relationships and only stop if they bump into something. They do not have clear goals, and so they accept, albeit grudgingly at times, whatever is thrown at them.

They take the education that is suggested to them, they take the job offered to them when they are making their way from position to position, job to job. read more…
